I was a high single digit handicap, whose game had reached a plateau, due to my double digit short game. After two short-game lssons with Mario, I hav become a solid 2 handicap. He showed me the techniques that the tour pros use, but are not willing to share, as he was. I envision, that as our relationship continues, I can see myself as a plus handicap, in a short time.

Mario can teach any one who wants to become a golf teacher..How to go about it....I have heard from many great golfers how every lesson he teaches he can quickly evaluate the problem and have the student train themself on there range time and how to get around the golf course the same day...I have been to the 3 best golf schools in America 1 in Arizona 1 in Orlando 1 in Navada....Not even close to what he can fix so fast...He is the best golf teacher i have ever seen D.Blanco

My wife and I would highly recommend Mario. We started taking lessons from Mario a few weeks ago, and we are already seeing major improvements. He has a great teaching method. A lot of instructors will try to load you up with a lot of information, but he does not try to teach you too much. He gives you one or two things to think about each time, and if you focus on those things and really work hard on them, you will get better. He also has simple tools that he uses - a towel, a pillow, some boxes, and some bricks. Very interesting and very simple. Thank you Mario!

Ihave been playing 20 years 15 H.C. Mario has shown me how to shape my golf shots..It was not hard to learn.Mario will hit the shots on comand (high draw ,low fade, any shot you ask him to hit ,he will produce).Then you can hit any shots you want..Now my H.C. %..Thank you Mario (shot maker)

Mario is the best. He's has a great appreciation for teaching the basics. He keeps things very simple and makes learning the golf swing easy and simple. I saw Mario the other day and he fixed my swing in minutes. I didn't even have a lesson scheduled with him. I asked him to help me out and he didn't even blink an eye. If you want to improve your golf swing and have fun doing there is only 1 insutructor to help....Mario Calmi.

Went to golf school at fancy places, took lessons at fancy places. Then I found Mario at his glamorous location at Alley Pond. One lesson, fixed my driving about a thousand percent. And now, believe it or not, after a few years, Mario actually has me swinging ON PLANE. Something the fancy places told me was impossible and suggested I just learn to live with my outside-in and hit fades. How does it happen. Mario keeps things simple, works on one flaw at a time, doesn't try and fill your head with 20 swing thoughts at a time and, most importantly, leaves you with something you can take to the range or take to the course to keep getting it right. You want fancy -- see a pro at the country club, you want confused, read golf instruction books---but if you want to actually learn enough to go out and actually enjoy this game more --- see Mario Calmi at Alley Pond... PERIOD.

hi my name is bill just want to say mario should be called super mario because he really improved my game. let me say their are many teachers but not many gifted teachers who know how to take the person as an individual and not just as a generic student doing the same old drills over and over. mr calmi sees the student as an individual and builds on that persons basic foundation. he has a way of seeing things that in my 20 years experience most teachers dont. from my kick ass tee shot to my pretty impressive short game i often dazzle my friends they call me the ringer hahahah!anyway let finsih by saying thanks to mario calmi my round is always fun and its due to having a good foundation and ps dont forget partice practice practice!

For my 35th anniversary with the company I work for I was given a set of golf clubs. I'm 60+ and had never played golf. Since I had these new golf clubs I decided to go to the Alley Pond Golf Center to see what golf lessons would cost. I took Mario Calmi's brochure and after reading it, I decided to call him. After speaking to Mario, I decided to take his 6 lesson package. Well I have to tell you that that was one of the best decisions I have recently made. Mario has took me under his wing and not only taught me how to sing a golf club and hit the ball, he explained how and when and how to use the different clubs. How to make chip shots and how to put and get out of a bunker. After only 6 weeks of lessons, I am actually playing golf and loving it. My friends are surprised that I could do as well as I am on the golf course in so little time. I give all the credit to Mario. He is one great golf teacher and I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play golf. If he can get me playing golf, just thing what he can do for you!
